Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the rules and restrictions for using Snipy (“we”, “our”, or “us”). Snipy is owned and operated by DevFlow FZE, based in the United Arab Emirates. All users must comply with this AUP to ensure a safe, lawful, and reliable platform.


1. Prohibited Content

You may NOT use Snipy to shorten or distribute links that contain, lead to, or promote:

  • Malware, viruses, trojans, ransomware, or harmful code
  • Phishing pages or credential harvesting
  • Fake login pages or impersonation of other services
  • Scams, fraud, multi-level marketing, or Ponzi schemes
  • Illegal downloads, cracks, serial numbers, hacking tools
  • Cyberattacks, DDoS tools, exploit kits, or dark web links
  • Sexually explicit or pornographic content targeting minors
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance
  • Violence, hate speech, terrorism, or extremist ideology
  • Illegal drugs, weapons, or regulated substances
  • Gambling services without proper licenses
  • Copyright infringement or pirated media
  • Sites that violate GDPR, CCPA, or privacy laws

Any violation will result in immediate termination with no refund.


2. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly forbidden:

  • Using Snipy for spam campaigns (email, SMS, social media)
  • Mass creation of disposable links for abuse
  • Redirect chains intended to deceive or manipulate users
  • Misuse of QR codes for scams or fraudulent offline campaigns
  • Using bots to artificially inflate analytics or clicks
  • Selling or sharing user data collected from Snipy
  • Creating misleading, harmful, or deceptive landing pages
  • Using Snipy for cryptocurrency scams or pump-and-dump schemes
  • Attempting to bypass Snipy filters, security, or restrictions
  • Creating links that violate third-party platform rules (Meta, TikTok, Google)

3. API Abuse

Snipy provides a developer API for legitimate integrations only. You must NOT:

  • Share or expose your API key
  • Automate abusive or high-risk links
  • Exceed rate limits or create automated spam campaigns
  • Attempt to scan or enumerate Snipy’s infrastructure

We may restrict or terminate API access if suspicious activity is detected.


4. QR Code Misuse

You may NOT use Snipy-generated QR codes for:

  • Fraudulent offline campaigns
  • Fake invoices, public scams, or social engineering
  • Malicious redirects through printed materials
  • Unauthorized marketing in restricted locations

We reserve the right to disable any QR code that poses a threat to users or partners.


5. Bio Pages Restrictions

Snipy bio pages may NOT contain or redirect to:

  • Fake celebrity profiles
  • Impersonation of brands or individuals
  • Illegal adult content or escort services
  • Copyrighted media without permission
  • Dangerous misinformation or harmful content

6. Enforcement & Penalties

We reserve the right to take immediate action, including:

  • Link disabling
  • QR code deactivation
  • Account suspension
  • Permanent account termination
  • IP blocking
  • API key revocation
  • Reporting illegal activity to authorities

No refunds are issued for accounts terminated due to AUP violations.


7. Reporting Abuse

If you find a Snipy link that violates this AUP, please report it immediately via our Abuse Form: Snipy Abuse Report


8. Changes to This AUP

We may update this policy to reflect new risks or regulations. Updates will be published on this page.
